Our work is crucial for promoting sustainable development,empowering women,improving health & sanitation,providing quality education, conserving the environment, & preserving traditional rural culture
The organization implements activities aimed at sustainable agricultural development through organic farming. Health activities, including health camps like eye check-ups and HIV/AIDS awareness programs, are conducted. The organization also focuses on women empowerment by organizing SHG programs and income-generating activities. Additionally, awareness programs on water and rural sanitation are conducted. For the all-round development of children, the organization has started a school that provides enhanced preschool education activities and nutrition care services. To conserve the environment, tree plantation and social forestry programs are conducted in villages. Cultural activities and other village events are regularly organized to preserve traditional rural culture and practices.

Vishwaganga Rural Health Initiative at Surapura
Vishwaganga Rural Development Organization is dedicated to improving healthcare for the village population in Surapura. The program focuses on providing accessible medical services, regular health check-ups, and preventive care education. By addressing health disparities, the initiative aims to enhance the overall well-being of the community.
Empowering Women in Shorapur
Our NGO is dedicated to empowering village women in Shorapur, Yadagiri District through awareness programs and skill development initiatives. We aim to enhance their socio-economic status and provide them with the necessary tools to achieve self-sufficiency and confidence.

Free Health Check-up Camp for the Homeless
On 02-07-2024, a joint initiative by the City Council of Surapura and Vishwaganga Rural Development Organization (Regd) conducted a free health check-up camp for the homeless at the Surapura Shelter. More than 40 people benefited from the camp.15-Jun-2024

NREGA Awareness Camp
Vishwaganga Rural Development Organization (Regd.) from Surapura conducted an awareness camp for NREGA workers. The event took place on 15th June 2024 at Sa. Shelligi in Surapura Taluk, Yadgiri District. The camp aimed to educate workers about their rights and benefits under the NREGA scheme.16-Sep-2023
Skill Development
In the academic year 2022-23, the Skill Development Corporation provided skill training to 120 unemployed youth under the Chief Minister's Skill Karnataka scheme. Training was imparted to enhance their skills and create employment opportunities in various sectors. Guidance was provided to facilitate self-employment avenues for the youth05-Jun-2023
Environment day Celebration
On 5th June 2023, Vishwaganga Rural Development Society celebrated Environment day in Ammapura's Sagaranadu School located in Yaadagiri District. All the Students participated in this event and sports organised in this.03-Feb-2023
Felicitation
On 3rd Feb 2023, Felicitation of Shivalingappa Bajanthri was held in Surapura taluk in Yaadagiri district awarding him as the Bhajane Padada Harikaararu. In the event, many artists like Gigi, Dollina also awarded him here.05-May-2020
Corona Awareness Campaign
In Peta Ammapura village of Yadgiri district, Corona awareness campaign was conducted by the NGO by teaching them social distancing and giving face masks for people for about 100 beneficiaries.24-Apr-2020
Food Kits to helpless
Food kits were supplied to people who were jobless during Covid 19 in Talavaragera village at Yadgiri district . Around 50 people were benefited from this program10-Oct-2019
Save Forests and Wildlife Programs
Wildlife and Various Cultural Programs were organized VGRDS with collaboration Surapur Taluka Forest Officers Shorapur. Awareness on environmental conservation, animal and birds. They are one of the most valuable resources and gifts of nature. They play a key role in the maintenance climate, rain-patterns, water and soil conservation.26-Aug-2019
VIDYASHREE PRE-PRIMARY SCHOOL
The Organization which was working in the region for the past few years felt the need of more attention and care for Children for all round growth in the early stages. Hence the society thought of starting a preschool centre at Peth Ammapura village in Surpur Taluka, and the pre school started functioning since 2016-17.The main objective of the center is: • Pre school education is essential for the child, it will be the base for your childs for future education. • It allows developing a child’s personality by exposing the creativity of the child in a natural way. • Pre primary education helps to learn that how a child can adjust with his/her peers and interact with outsiders. The centre has LKG and UKG classes. This is the right place for the child’s foundation for lifelong progress. The skills and knowledge that the child develops in the Pre School have a great impact on the aptitude and attitude of the child later in life.10-May-2019

Women Empowerment through SHG
VGRDS believes women’s empowerment is the key to social economic development of the community. The organization adopted formation of women SHG and nurturing the same by various capacity building training as the main tool for rural women social economic empowerment.The basic principles of the SHGs are group approach, mutual trust, organizing of small and manageable groups, group cohesiveness, spirit of thrift, demand-based lending, collateral free, women friendly loan, peer group pressure in repayment, skill training capacity building and empowerment. As on date, 21 SHG were formed in Solapur taluka. Capacity building training is organized by VISHWAGANGA for its SHGs on various topics such as book-keeping, budgeting, accessing credit and bank linkages, government welfare schemes, personality development, health and hygiene, social issues and legal rights.10-Mar-2019
Celebration of folk songs and drumming organized by VGRDS
Folk and Hollow Arts (Dollu kunita) were exhibited at Sagarnadu High School Peth Ammapur by Vishwaganga Rural Development Society.In folk art, the hollow art of masculinity is beyond art. SWACHHA BHARATH ABHIYAN
Swacchta that is cleanliness.Cleanliness is related to hygiene and diseases prevention. VGRDS also took an active at in Prime ministers Swachh Bharat Mission by implementing the SWACHTHA ABHIYANA at Sholapur Taluka. Awareness campaigns were held for students students, teachers and parents, village youths, women groups and panchayath members. During the program the main emphasis was given on the following subjects and issues: • Disposal of Waste Water, construction of soak pits • Construction and Use of Toilet • Disposal of Solid Waste / Garbage, recycling waste, preparing compost. • Safe drinking water • Better Health Practices, cleanliness, personal hygiene The programs has increased the awareness level of villagers and felt the importance on village sanitation, environment cleanliness, construction and usage of toilets, personal hygiene and also better health practices.Villagers started adopting the same in their life.22-Oct-2018
Eye checkup camp
Every year the organization conducts free eye check up camps at shorapur for the benefit of the rural villagers.The program is conducted in association with Anugrha Hospital, Gulbarga. The medical team from the hospital visits Shorapur and check up is done. Free lenses and spectacles are also distributed by the organization. Free local transport and lunch was also arranged for the patients. During the year 2018-19 the camp was conducted at Shorapur, were in 55 patients undergone cataract operation and free spectacles are distributed for the patients.For the patients free transportation was arranged to undergo eye operation at Gulburga. This initiatives is very helpful for poor people who cannot afford expensive procedures and medicines.Our Impact
